THE ROAD TO POLO IS DOWN TO TWO: 1 EXPECTED, THE OTHER MAYBE NOT

After a grueling trip, it comes down to the FINALS OF THE US OPEN. It was probably a 90% + chance Pilot would be there, and many new it could happen for La Elina if all fell into place.

The TBA turned into Juan Martine Obregon and brother Geronimo, named after a tough Indian Chief in the old west. (I am sure that is not true, but it sounds good). Their third: a very tough fellow from up north named Jared Zenni. Zenni who has been here before and has beaten the best, is back and he can absolutely fly. Him and the Obergons know each other well, and though they are likely not mounted as well, they are 4 on the floor– none of them worried about getting beat to a play, or that someone won’t be there. There is not one of them that will quit, I GUARANTEE. On the other side, well, you have the Champs. They proved it twice, beating a very tough Park Place and, of course, they have Facundo Pieres. They also have some horses, that WOW are born to run. Facundo, although almost 1/2 the team’s handicap, has some very disciplined help. Young Mackenzie Weisz is playing a young gun who knows no limit and has taken on a high goal player in every match, going 50/50 with the big guns. With Zavaleta, speed and fight is the way, and he compliments F.P. as well as you possibly can. MR PILOT, well he has been here before and likes his job. He gets it done and hasn’t seen many L’s in polo, and he must like the W’s a lot more.

To me it is a toss up. The last shot could be the WINNER.

cya SUNDAY at the end of the road to POLO
