PILOT’S BIG GUN KEEPS BLAZING AS THE SECOND SEMI HIT THE PITCH

The game started out like wow. The guns were on fire, as Shack scored 3 goals in just about 3 minutes and missed 3. Shack is led by Santiago Tocalino, a big hitter at the back door, and he fed it fast two his guns, the Magrini boys– Santino and Keko, along with Viana, all fast and young. Chukker 1 ended up with Shack up 3 to 0, but chukker 2 revealed the Pilot squad of Curtis, young Lucas Escobar, and a couple of real gunslingers behind them, Zavaleta and The Real Pilot Bang Bang–Facundo Pieres. The second chukker was quick and so was Pilot, as they outscored the Shack 4 to 2, with Shacks missing 3 again, and giving 2 away on penalties. The third was more of the same. Pilot knocked it in 4 times, scoring 2 on penalties, and going up 6 to 5 at half time.

But the Shack got their guns cooled off at the 1/2 and giving up 3 goals, 2 goals by penalties.

Shack came out hungry in the 5th, down 9 to 6, and scored 4 goals to come within 1, only missing 2 shots over the out line and scored a big #4 in the process. But they gave up one #4 penalty as well. They were down by 1 going into the 6th. They tied it up fairly early, but it they gave it up again with some sorta of dumb foul and, Bang Bang Facundo made them pay scoring the winning goal.

A very good game and hard to believe they stayed so close and could have won . Throw ins were close to even, penalties made were good. Tocalino only missed 1 penalty and Pilot never missed. Knock inns were the big story–Shack had 2, none in the first half, and Pilot had 14. The fouls: 8 for Shack and 14 for Pilot.

So they head to the finals and not sure who is playing–AC or Jetta–but I do know they will need their #4 penalties to go in, because Pilot never missed. But Valiente has 2 other guys who are pretty good at #4s–Peke and Lucas.

Cya on SUNDAY for the Finals!
