A recent article just followed what I have thought all along. They are just as crooked as Mexico or Argentina. They should be on any parents list as the best job in America. A young Man or Woman, if they get elected, will make 174 grand a year, so if they make 2 terms, they’ll be millionaires. Also, it they’re elected close to the age of 60, they may never have to work again after 5 years. Just hustle a couple lobbyist and set back. All the while seeing the World first class and having private security that we pay for. It seems like they must be exceptional, especially if you look at what they’re worth entering the office vs. after 8 yrs. They’re between 10 to 50 times as much as they were worth. Som, like Nancy, may be 200 times her original value. They also don’t even have to get approval on their flights with it being so well run. They can fly home first class, but usually in a private jet, to tell their constituents how hard they have been working for them, before they retire after such a stressful job. Either fighting for or against Trump for the last 10 yrs. Best of all, they may not even have to have a college education I hear. The sad thing is they are really not doing anything in many real problem areas.
One easy one to see is the homeless. Maybe 70% are mental problems most brought on by big Pharma selling pain medicine– all approved by congress. “Why” they get paid to approve so they can be stock holders of trillion dollar Corporations through stock is the same reason they get paid to create shortages like Chevron, making 6 Billion dollars profit last year they say.
How many homeless would half of that help? Maybe make Big Pharma pay for all pain medicines, being that became habit, by putting some profits aside for aid instead of congress payroll. One of them cut prices from around a 100 bucks to 37 the other day. Might break them after 10 yrs of gouging.
Now banks are failing but guess who will bail them out again ? I am sure they collected all the money they lent them before, interest free. Just get those Kids in Political science. It may not even take a college education to retire at 40 and then play Polo.
