La Karina and Dundas 2 took on a very cold and a bit windy day but it got hot very quick chukkar 1 was fast and furious and all Dundas but they could not make it count. shooting at goal 5 times making 1 and LK got one to end it 1 to 1 . chukkar 2 was also fast but a few fouls 5 to be exact and 1 4 missed by LK rest were 5’s and Dundas up by 1 3 to 2 . Number 3 was a bit crazy as Dundas scored 2 quick and the LK came roaring back to end first 1/2 tied at 5 all . 2nd 1/2 4th was all dundas as they blistered LK to go by scoring 3 to 1 advantage and was Zemi making a # 5 from center all there scoring in one giant hit for LK , Dundas scored 2 on penalties as well to make it 8 to 6 Dundas the 5 th ws a repeat of 4 th but fast and free I think 3 penalties but was all Dundas and finished chukkar up 11 to 7 and LK down by 4 the roof was closing , oh but it was not closed as LK came out to fight and boy did they and I should say Girl because Hope was leasing the charge and the Cowboys behind her were coming fast and they smoked Dundas who may have relaxed a little up by 4 and it was very close to Hope stopping an OT in last 5 seconds with a very close but a miss and send it to OT as LK scored 4 to 0 in the 6 th with 1.40 to go but no one could finish it . So off to OT it was so damn cold everyone wanted it over probably even the Horses but it kept going and Zeda got a knock in and worked it down the field and found paydirt when Dundas received an Open goal and it was over. Dundas in OT , Cody Ellis was MVP and not sure but left before I froze Zedas gray mare should have been Best Playing Pony. A great Polo game a bit weather Ugly I think might have been as cold a game as I have ever been in SB but lots of Talent on field Patrons Cable Magness and Brian Boyd did there teams well and a Slim little Fl. Girl showed she may be the best 2 goal player in America and if te Handicap committee could see this they would help her by leaving her there as they help others and most not from here as you can tell how many we have even here . American youth in Polo is not looking well the young players who want to play and can Sponsor are out , WHY. they want to play not Pay to hear Man leave it ! What happens when the few High Goal Patrons we have now get my age and do not want to pay to have best seat in the HOUSE ?? Change is simple and much cheaper each player has 7 horses no more per game cuts cost 40 % gets rid of 3 minute horses makes everyone have to play and be part of game and we will again have 3 to 6 goal patrons and pay so much less than today and maybe see some big stick Patrons like Orthweins the Busch Boys the Uihliens . Think about it ? Is the USPA with there millions going to start sponsoring polo ????
