In a very cool day in Santa Barbara polo, Brookshire was not cold at all and were firing from all angles Panelo and Gonzalez were showing a very amazing bit of teamwork with quick passes and they were quick to pass and run with Paco and Scott moving all the time . BSI just did not have even a bit of luck shooting at goal . They did a lot so kept a game that was lopsided most of the way , you knew they could 2 goals in 4 chukkars well it does not work when the boys in Orange have 6 and in control . The stats show the misery of BSI 14 shots at goal to turn the ball over ever time . BSI showed some fire winning the last chukkar by 3 to 1 but it was not there day . I did not stay for Trophy presentation but can bet Peke Gonzalez should be MVP as his Grey in 5th should be BPP . Thoroughbred’s like this Gray were short on field but you only have to watch to see the speed and endurance full chukarrs and still the fastest . This is the old standard and it is a Family affair from Grandpa Daniel to Grandson Peke and in the middle Mariano always on Tbreds . No need for 20 horses and 12 changes in a game. Well done Brookshire .
