The semis of the Pacfic coast was a cool high humidity day but nobody told the teams and it was a very good day of Polo . The day started with Woods Brookshire Versus Mr Palmer’and Antelope and for the first 2 and 1/2 cukkars looke liked a disaster no passes a 1 man show going nowhere I think down 7 to 2 and a spurt to end 1/2 but 4 th was a new show and the big gun started to pass and found out they could do it and they did equalizing in the 5th then disaster struck the big gun was out . They brought in Matias Magrini and he did well but could not get over the hump as Brook kept the pressure on with Peke and Paneno keeping in orm they do not quit ,
Game 2 was a little bit the same Klentner Ranch dominated most of the first 1/2 up by 5 at times but there are 2 halves to Polo games and this was definitely a 2 nd 1/2 team and they have 3 goals of dynamite and they proved it today Olanzo Andrade and Will Busch showed they are ready for the big time as they took the man scored goals and the big sticks destroy Klentner in the last 2 chukkars these 2 young guns will not get the credit but I guarantee they made the difference , The real thing you seen today was polo is 6 chukkars and you are never out till it’s over and it was an injury in first game but he did not use team like he should have until 4 th and wow here they came got hurt so will never know . Second game was Horses and pride and most of all youth Olanzo and Will made it happen down by 5 they were not worried, and they set the game and the big sticks got it done amazing day for Americans who can play polo USE THEM. It is the first time this year and maybe more to see sponsors andd low goal players become part of the game the way it was .
